Music & Media Studies

Music allows you to study instruments and the voice. Media Studies enables you to analyse films through discussions and writing and produce your own films.

Learn Listening Online
This is a great resource for use at home or at school. You can hear examples of all sorts of different music and styles and then you can test your knowledge with quizzes.

All parts of the music course are based on the musical concepts for each level. You can open a document with all of the concepts at each level by clicking onto the concept tab. Or you can visit the SQA website, follow the links for music to download your own copy of them.
