At Falkirk High School, there is an integrated approach to support for pupils. All pupils are allocated a form class and a Form Tutor who remains with them throughout their school career. In addition, each pupil has a designated Head of House. These key members of staff have the opportunity to get to know their caseload very well and are therefore in a position to ensure that each pupil can access support and is encouraged to achieve their potential.

Some pupils may require additional support on a temporary or long-term basis. Specialist staff may be involved to address specific difficulties and there is scope for flexibility within the areas of Support for Learning, Extended Pupil Support and The Family Support Service to ensure that this support is tailored to meet individual needs.
