In conjunction with our Parent Council, Falkirk High School has recently introduced a new Uniform Recycling Service.  The service is designed to promote sustainability and equity with respect to the provision of school uniform.  As a community, we are aware that the sourcing and purchasing of uniform can, at times, be challenging for some families and young people.  In addition, the school is focused on contributing to the improvement of our environment through recycling initiatives.  We want to ensure that we promote sustainability in all that we do within Falkirk High School and this is one small step toward achieving that.

Members of the school community can contribute to our Uniform Recycling Service by donating school ties, white shirts, black trousers, black skirts, black school jumpers and school blazers.  These can be Prefect blazers or original blazers.  We would ask that the items are in good condition and suitable for wearing.  Upon receipt of any items, the school will launder and prepare them for distribution.

To date, we have received a number of school blazers in a variety of sizes.  We also have a good selection of boys shirts and trousers currently available.  It would be great to now build up the variety of items available, particularly relating to female uniform.
